Please Note: The benefit period for Medicare Part A is UP TO 100 days. Most people qualify for far less than 100 days. For each Medicare Part A day, which is covered in a skilled nursing facility, a patient must meet Medicare Part A criteria. This is true from day one of the stay, until the last covered day.
