Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Whitehall Boca Raton's Hampton Residence is proud to offer a positive, non-confrontational program of caregiving, protection, comfort and dignity. Our Comfort Care Program, begun in 1991, establishes a new “home” for those with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.

Residents are grouped into “families” of eight to ten people who remain together throughout the course of the day. Activities are based on residents' capabilities while compensating for their loss of abilities. Some of the features of our program include:

  • An intimate, home-like setting
  • High nursing staff to resident ratio
  • Direct care
  • Self-contained "safe" area
  • Consistent staffing and daily routine
  • Low-stress environment
  • Care matched to individual's level of competency
