Care for the elderly and the infirm is a gentle art. It requires all the knowledge science has to offer, plus the skill of human compassion that can blossom only in a supportive environment.
We feel very strongly about providing a supportive environment. In fact, we've taken measurable steps to help ensure that not only current but future health care professionals embrace the same values. For instance, we're active members of the National Association of Health Care Assistants, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the performance of nursing assistants so that elders in nursing homes receive the best care possible. We're also involved in a national program designed exclusively to find ways to improve the quality of care for residents.
Our participation in programs that reach beyond Whitehall's corridors isn't about bragging rights. It's about an enduring commitment to quality health care that you can depend on.
