Raising Standards for Therapeutic Recreation with Licensure

Although recreational therapists are required to have appropriate credentials through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, few states have taken the additional step of requiring licensing as well. Whitehall Boca is helping take the lead in trying to persuade Florida lawmakers to license these professionals, too.
